I am thrilled to announce our next ARTIST PARTNER! SILK/SOIE Inc. will be collaborating with the extraordinary CLAIRE CHANG TETZLAFF. CLAIRE graduated from the FIBERS department at SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) in the May of 2020. I first met Claire during the summer of 2017, after her freshman year, and she is one of the most talented young artists I know. Our Instagram page @silksoiedesign is the place where we will update you on each step of the process of transforming Claire’s original artwork, GOLDEN AFTERNOON, pictured above, into embroidery, and then into silk.

In addition to being a beautiful artist, Claire and her husband, Chad, are avid travellers. For a full year, until the summer of 2021, Claire and Chad are traveling around the U.S.A. in their Ford Transit Connect, which they’ve converted into a tiny home on wheels. They have been documenting this adventure over on their YouTube channel (Chad and Claire) and also consistently on Claire’s Instagram.
